If you have POP3 email then your Incomming mail server should be set to pop.enta.net and your outgoing server set to smtp.enta.net .

When I try to send email I get an error message "550 Relaying denied"?
This could be for two reasons either you are trying to send email through one of our servers while conected to another ISP or that your senders email address in your email client is a domain that is not hosted with us and thus will not be relayed. Our mail servers only allow outgoing email for our customers.

If i'm away from my PC is there any way I can still send and recieve email?
Yes! You can use our web mail facilty found at the Aardvark IT Web Portal page . This will allow you to log in using your username and password. You will then be able to check for new mail, send messages, delete messages and even use an online address book.

When I try to download my email it gets stuck on the same message and goes no further, what can I do?
This would usually mean that someone has sent you an email with a large file attachment and you can not download it as your connection on a dialup would time out. You have two choices, you can either login to our Webmail facility and delete the message there or you can contact technical support and they can remove it for you.

Can Aardvark IT provide an SMTP feed to my mail server?
Yes! If you are on Dial-up you will first need a Static IP address (Contact our sales team for this) or if you use ADSL or have a lease line with us you will already have a Static IP. We can Forward all your email (that is hosted with us) to the IP address you specify.
